This week I came across a commercial photographer called Simon Stanmore, a lot of his work is mainly used for business promotions and he others a visual service to smaller companies around britain. His commercial work didn't really catch my eye it was a couple of his images from his personal work that had me interested. I admired the portrait above due to the controlled lighting situation and the shallow depth of field making the image crispy sharp on the for-ground and blurred in the background. There is just a great contrast it looks almost like he shouldn't be there.
